Friday our Social Studies class will take a quiz over Chapter 1 lessons 1-3. Students have two graphic organizers with information to help them study. We will be working on a test review tomorrow in class that would also be a great tool to prepare for Friday's quiz. Please encourage your child to review a bit tonight and tomorrow to prepare for Friday.
For the quiz students will need to know the following:
Missouri Compromise
Compromise of 1850
Kansas-Nebraska Act
Who was Dred Scott
Who was Harriet Tubman
Who was Harriet Beecher Stowe
Who was John Brown
What are some ways that slaves resisted slavery
All of this information can be found on their graphic organizers in the SS divider of the toolkit. I also have prezi's for Ch 1 lessons 1, 2 and 3 on my blog, located on the left hand side. Students can review these to help them study.
