CHAMPS Essay

CHAMPS Essays will be due March 14th. Students may submit papers earlier to their Science teachers if they finish before that date.

The essay requirements are 1 page handwritten or 1 page double spaced, 12pt font typed. Font should be Times New Roman or Georgia - in black color.

Essays should be written on a topic we learned about during a CHAMPS lessons. Examples are alcohol and drug awareness, dangers of tobacco, internet safety, home alone safety, bullying and any other important topics Mrs. Kandy discussed.

Students can share their documents through google docs ahead of time to show their progress on their papers. If shared on google docs please type your name as part of the title so I can easily find your work.

Students must show that they have completed an intro paragraph by this Friday. Papers should follow the expectations of writing for their ELA teachers with correct spelling and grammar.

CHAMPS booklets and internet resources can be used but must be cited.
