Info for next week

Next Monday will be a student holiday. We will be holding conferences on Monday, Oct 12th
from 8 - 3:30. If you have not returned your conference form requesting a conference, please make sure to send one in.


For Math - both math classes have an assignment on google classroom. Students need to watch (and solve along) a video on adding and subtracting decimals. Students will have a google doc with their name that they need to type their answers and click "turn in" in the upper right hand corner. Students are encouraged to write down their work on paper and bring that in, in case we have technology issues. Students have until Tuesday the 13th to complete this assignment.

Students will have their first decimals test next Friday over "Reading, Writing and Comparing Decimals". Students will need to be able to write decimals using the 3 different forms we have learned this week (expanded, word and standard form).

We are preparing for our Civil War test next Thursday as well. Students already have their test review study guide over the Civil war in their toolkits. We will finish completing the last few questions on the guide next week to use as a review for Thursday's test.
