Schedule Changes

Parents,
We apologize for the recent changes that are occurring with schedules. You may have heard that classes are going through some changes and we are hoping to finalize them soon. We have met several times including over the summer to work on these schedules based on the Standards Based Grading. Since Standards Based Grading has recently changed for 5th grade therefore we have had to go through and re-do many of these schedules. We have met daily since school started and continue to meet in order to ensure that students needs are being met and will have the least transitions as possible in order to maximize the amount of teaching time. I apologize again and we plan to address this tonight at the Open House meeting. Please know we are collaborating as a team in order to make sure all of the classes are paced the same so that once these final schedules are made, they will neither be ahead/behind any of their classes.
