Math and Science

Students in both of my math classes have been learning Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple. We've learned various ways of finding these two things (Chart method, Rainbow method and Slide method). We will be taking our post test over these things on Friday as well as knowing how to list the factors of a number and the multiples of a number. In order to help prepare them for Friday - if you could give them several pairs of numbers and have them show their methods to you - it will not only help them get ready for the test but it will be exciting for them to teach you a "trick" they've learned in class.

Tomorrow is the Science Ch 5 test for my first block and the Microscope quiz for my second block. Second block will be taking their Ch 5 test on Friday along with the DOM quiz. We've been reviewing all week - any of the workbook pages they completed as homework  can be used as a study guide. We've also been taking notes and answering questions in class that students in my first block have already and second block will be doing those in the next several days.
