My first block with be re-taking the Science Quiz on Friday over JUST the cells portion. They should be able to identify the main parts of each cell... Cell wall, cell membrane, nucleus, vacuole, mitochondria, and chloroplasts as well as which is a plant and which is an animal cell.
My second block has had more sub days and we are trying to catch up in Math so our Science quiz will be on Tuesday next week.
Both blocks should have their drawings as well as pictures from the book as references. We did a review today and will do another review tomorrow over all of the parts of a cell.
Our first Social Studies test will be Wednesday - tomorrow is our first 4-H meeting and students will be given a graphic organizer to complete for homework over Ch 11 Lesson 1. We will have a review session Friday, Monday and Tuesday for our coming up Chapter 11 test. Please make sure they are studying the Bill of Rights, the responsibitilies of a citizen, the three branches of government as well as their vocabulary.
Sorry for all the sub days - it's been a crazy week!
